The Sopot beach

It's fair to say that the Sopot beach is the most popular in Poland. It stretches the entire length of Sopot, is very wide and covered with fine, white sand. The beach, every year, attracts thousands of tourists from Poland and abroad. It is guarded during the summer and offers plenty of attractions for both children and adults. Everyone will find something for himself: there are numerous bars and restaurants, water sports equipment rentals, beach chairs for sunbathing and inflatable bouncy castles for children.

Tip: If you do not like crowds, we recommend You to go to the part of the beach which is the furthest in the direction of Gdynia. It's only a few minutes walk from the pier. It is much quieter and there is a well-known restaurant called "Bulaj."

Warning! On the beach, lighting fires and drinking alkohol outside of bars and restaurants is forbidden. In most places You are also not allowed to entre the beach with dogs. This is possible only on the border with Gdansk (entry No. 43 to 45).
